~Truth Doesn’t Change…. Free For All ~

Actually this is hard to write….

Scrolling through my Facebook newsfeed these days is pretty scary. Christianity, the church, and religion is under attack. Have you noticed? How could you not?

A new message, a new Jesus, a new church is being preached by the world and causing a shift in everything around us and the people (who are the church) have a choice to stand or shift with what is popular now?

Everything will be shaken but if we stand on the Rock, Jesus, we will not be shaken when it counts.

The bible prophecies what will happen, what is in fact happening right now. Its hard to know what to do, what to say anymore. Can we hold back the tide? God has a plan and it will unfold. How it will actually unfold is not known to us until it happens before our eyes.

So what should we do? This is the question!
I would love to hear your answers. Should we focus on things which are beyond our control or those somewhat within our control?

I don’t think that we are going to change the tide, not in the way that it is flowing now. Does that mean we should let it? No I am not saying that. And I am not being defeatist. I think we should each do and say what God has shown us to do and say.

This is what I know:

Mark 16:15
And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race]

My focus is bringing awareness to people, encouraging us to keep our eyes open and be aware of what is happening. This is our main call. This is everyone’s call.

Would it be better for me to spend my time arguing the finer points and the things we don’t have in common, or would it be better spending my time sharing the love of Christ, the gift of salvation? I am no preacher, I am no Pastor, I am no authority but this is what I believe?
Its better to cut out the things that divide and share the love of Christ to all who will hear it, and to all whose hearts are open, it doesn’t mean you agree with what they believe but you can pray for them that their hearts would be opened, their eyes would be opened, and most of all they will see their need of a Saviour, the gift that is FREE FOR ALL!

Will someone be turned out of heaven because God didn’t love them? No! But he has offered the gift of eternal life to ALL, it is for ALL to receive and to anyone who accepts this gift it is given. If people don’t accept the gift that is not the Givers fault.

I choose to spend my time on what I have said instead of being drawn into arguments that are not going to go away any time soon.

This may seem shallow to some of you but this is what I know to do and it can only help others and not turn them away or causing the gap to widen by arguing and alienating. I hope you understand what I am saying and not take it out of the context I mean….
