There is no distinction…  “This righteousness of God comes through faith in Jesus Christ for all those [Jew or Gentile] who believe [and trust in Him and acknowledge Him as God’s Son]. There is no distinction,” ‭‭~Romans 3:22‬~ God does not play favourites. His gift is to one and to all. “For there is no distinction between Jew and Gentile; for the same Lord is Lord over all [of us], and [He is] abounding in riches (blessings) for all who call on Him [in faith and prayer].” ‭‭~Romans 10:12‬~ What God says he means. He’s not like the majority of us for whom this statement is not true. Most of us know that this is hard to hold true to most of the time, let alone all of the time, but he only makes one qualifier and that is that we need the righteousness of God which comes through faith…

Lord help me hear your voice

Lord I humble myself before you. I hardly know what’s what anymore but I know your word. You have given us the pathway back to you. People are putting blockages in that pathway that deflect them and others from finding you today. Your word is truth. You are the way the truth and the life. No… No one comes to the father but by you. Lord help me to hear your voice ever so clearly in each and every moment. I raise my shield faith high Lord. I am reminded that you are my shield and my exceedingly great reward. I look to you. You stand for me Lord. I lift your word. I lift up your word above all else that is going on around us. Thirst

                            I have been praying for people to come to know Jesus in a personal way. I started thinking about being thirsty and I was praying that people would thirst. Jesus is the living water, the bible says if we drink from him we will thirst no more. I was praying Lord make people thirsty and then I realised that thirst comes from within. Thirst is not something that anyone can ‘make’ you feel. Thirst is something that is natural and comes from within, its a natural self initiated desire, an instinct that God has put within every human being. The Weight of the World   The world is in a really sad state of affairs. Everywhere I look, I see, hear and read things which are really so sad. One brother blames another brother. One calls out another, when there is already a speck in his eye. Lives are destroyed. When if ever will this end? Even sadder the truth that a lot of these people should know better. Don’t they realise in their well meaning stances they are exacerbating world crisis? The world is in a heightened state… I don’t know if you feel it but I do. Sticks and stones may break my bones but names WILL still hurt me… You know that feeling? When you don’t think there is anything wrong but then you notice the tension in your shoulders. Shifting sands

Shifting Sands Imagine your team playing. Imagine your team playing against a zillion other teams! Imagine your team is playing tug of war against a million other teams!!! I have this picture in my head of a lot of ropes inter-laid in a star shape and each team trying to get over the line to win. The problem is we are all meant to be on the same team. Call the team love, call it humanity, call it the world, why not even call it survival! Will we ever win when we are all on our own teams instead of pulling together? Basically there is no way that most of the teams are going to give up their game and join into one. Why is that? The things we are fed.

What we feed on feeds us! I wonder if everything we see, read and hear from different sources is all propaganda of some description? I believe what I believe. You believe what you believe. They may be complete opposite beliefs… yet we both believe them. How can this be so? How do we really KNOW? People die and fight for what they believe.  And it might not even be the truth but they believed it is. How do we figure it out in a world filled with so many me-isms. (I will look after me – no one else will, look after No.1) How do we figure it out in a world filled with so many complete opposite versions of the ‘truth’? I guess it depends on whom you listen to?!
