Its complicated…

Its complicated…  Just thinking about the complications in our lives… Sometimes it feels as if there are a million loose ends in our life… (yes I know it’s a slight exaggeration). Sometimes it feels like things are unravelling or that we know in time they will unravel. What will happen when…? What will I do if…? What about…? We don’t know what to do now, we don’t know what we will do when and if things unravel like we imagine. Sometimes they never end up unravelling…. The one thing that I hold onto when I feel like this is my faith. My belief in God’s best plan for my life. I have seen him come through in every situation I have faced… No I don’t know why, I don’t know how, I don’t understand it all, I don’t understand a lot of it but I will trust in him, and…

God tells us to bear one anothers burdens…

We don’t just have to grin and bear it on our own!
I am so thankful for every person that has been sent along my path that has shared in my burdens…
I am VERY thankful for the camaraderie of friendships that give me the feeling of community in my times of need. And I do believe that there are those that have been ‘sent’ along my path, and I KNOW that I have been sent along other people’s paths… It makes the journey a little more bearable… Thank you for sharing in my journey…

Jumping the waves….

.ƸӜƷ. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY ƸӜƷ. Jumping the waves… Let’s hold hands and jump the waves together. I’ve had this picture a few times lately. It conveys so beautifully storms of life that each of us endure… And how we are able to support each other, and not just us but, also the One who always travels with us. So beautiful and so precious, the image is such a relief and from the far more tempestuous version that plays in our head. Can you see this picture, you and I together in the sea, the waves are coming but instead of being afraid we hold hands and lift them up and jump together. My Life Puzzle…

When I consider the pieces that make up my life I am astounded. You never would have thought that piece could fit but it did and perfectly so. Our lives are so complex, we control so many of the moves yet God says all our days are written in his book. Psalm 139. How can this be? I think what makes it work is Romans 8:28 all things work together for good to them that love God and are called according to His purpose. This is only just the tip, and the beginning of understanding the ways of a complex yet simple God and his ways. Last year I added some pieces that were very hard indeed, I thought they would spoil the overall picture for sure but now I can see how the shadow section highlights the brightness around it.
