Peace… and pace…

.ƸӜƷ. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY ƸӜƷ. Peace and pace… If you’re a busy person like me, you may be always be trying to do more than one thing at a time. I have loved my morning walks the last couple of months, enjoying the serenity as I have shared it with you, all and the quiet time of reflection and conversation with God. A great thing about my morning walk is also that I’m getting some exercise which of course I need. I also know that as well is cardio exercise I need resistance training and strength. So this morning I am attempting peace and pace. Just as in our daily life there is peace and pace, so in our in our inner world there is also peace and pace. To do life well we need to be able to do or find the peace amongst the pace. So this…

Keeping Pace…

If we are training for something or on a mission to achieve a goal, even if we are trying to get fit, it’s a great idea to have a walking buddy. It’s the same in life. It’s great to have a walking buddy! There is a friend of mine that we used to walk together a lot. She was fitter than me and whenever I walked with her it would encourage me to keep pace with her. She is a strong walker and her normal pace is faster than mine so it helped me to go that little bit further and faster than I would by myself. It’s the perfect example of why walking your life journey with someone is so good. It doesn’t have to be a husband or wife, just a great friend will do, someone who is on your wavelength, someone who will push you that little…
