Thoughts on Evangelism and sharing the Gospel

Thoughts on Evangelism and sharing the Gospel… Sadly there are many times when we use different excuses for not actually having to talk to people about Jesus. Yes, we can share our faith by being relational, and by being a good witness etc, I know because I used to say that. I wasn’t comfortable with ‘straight out’ sharing my faith because it took me out of my comfort zone. I’m still not the best at it, I sometimes struggle to express myself, but now I know that I need to get out of my comfort zone,  and I do my best to do that. I used to say it’s not my gift. I am more a ‘such and such’, that’s not my ministry, but now I know its everyone’s ministry and responsibility. I don’t say that with a ‘side order of guilt’ or a ‘helping of condemnation’. I say it…

How do you share the greatest gift you ever received, with people who don’t know its a gift?

How do you share the greatest gift you ever received, with people who don’t know its a gift? Have you ever thought about how to share the gift of salvation with the people in your life? Recently, after talking to a few people, and trying to share my faith with them I had a huge realization. These days, people don’t know what sin is. They don’t know they are sinners. We are all sinners, and we need to be saved and redeemed by the only one that can save us, but this is now a foreign concept to so many. Many people don’t believe in God anymore, and He is not the foundation of their lives, He has effectively been taken out of the picture. God’s laws set out the standard that much of our society has been built on, but as we remove God, we are removing His laws…

Everything that can be shaken will be shaken…

Everything that can be shaken will be shaken “His voice shook the earth [at Mount Sinai] then, but now He has given a promise, saying, “YET ONCE MORE I WILL SHAKE NOT ONLY THE EARTH, BUT ALSO THE [starry] HEAVEN.” ‭‭~HEBREWS‬ ‭12:26-27‬~ Commentary: Now this [expression], “Yet once more,” indicates the removal and final transformation of all those things which can be shaken–that is, of that which has been created–so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.” I’m pretty certain there is a shaking going on. I feel it in my life and I see it the lives of others around me. It’s not pleasant but, in a lot of ways, it is good. The outcomes of this shaking mean more of Him and less of me. Everything that can be shaken will be shaken. Have you heard that saying before? It perfectly describes the world in its…

Salvation or feel-good experience?

Salvation or feel-good experience? People who don’t know God don’t know about sin… it’s not in the modern secular vocabulary. People know good and bad but not their need to be saved from sin. If we only focus on acceptance and tolerance people are not presented with the whole gospel. Do we want people to be saved or make them feel good? ~Cam Richmond~ Please visit: www.lightforlifeinspirations.com www.facebook.com/groups/eternitymatters www.facebook.com/lightforlifepage www.facebook.com/sayaprayerforme www.facebook.com/theanswerIvefound www.facebook.com/lovewithoutexpectationspage www.facebook.com/theanswersivefound

Where is your hope found?

Where is your hope found? All the talk used to be about world peace. Looks like we’ve ruined any chance of that. The world is so fractured right now that it’s actually about to splinter. I never, in my wildest imagination expected what we are experiencing today. Civilization has become completely uncivilized and almost rabid!!! We are going backward at a rate of knots. Any chance we had for stability seems to be vanishing right before our eyes. Where is your hope found? Mine is in God our creator. He is The supreme supernatural force. There is no other person or thing, natural or supernatural, that can save humanity from itself. Our world has never been so close to the edge. At times over recent centuries, we may have gotten close to the ‘road to peace’, but we’ve long passed that one by now. This is a wake-up call. #eternitymatters…

Do you really believe Jesus is coming back?

Do you really believe Jesus is coming back? A few years ago now, I came to the point of REALLY asking myself this question. That was the end of me being complacent about sharing Jesus, that would no longer be allowed… BUT, it was demanded of me, not by anyone else, but by the revelation that Jesus really is coming back. This gave me a fresh awakening and a heart for the gospel and salvation! That’s why my question to ALL CHRISTIANS is this… DO YOU REALLY REALLY BELIEVE JESUS IS COMING BACK? Many Christians will say yes out of habit. So ask yourself again…. pause, consider, and THEN answer. DO YOU REALLY REALLY REALLY BELIEVE JESUS IS COMING BACK? Yes……… How then should you live? What is important? If time is short, which it seems to me it is… THEN… DO YOUR LOVED ONES, FRIENDS AND FAMILY KNOW THE…
