Unite over eternity…

Unite over eternity… I am so, so saddened… so sad to read through Facebook posts and to read of Christians walking away from the clarity that the Word of God gives and to being divided, and what’s more, they are being divided from the more important mission of sharing Jesus with as many as we can, because surely His return is imminent. Is what you believe about hotbed issues more important to you than their eternity of friends and families? A huge deception is setting in, and the church is under the cloud. I never thought I would see the day. I guess we always knew it would come to this, but to see it is so grievous to me. Over the last 10 years, I have been unfriended by two local pastors because they don’t like what I say, and what I say isn’t bad at all… Christians are…

Look to the Creator…

Look to the Creator… People would rather put their hope in God’s creation and not in Him, but nothing that people put their hope in can save them except for Him. There is no person or thing, natural or supernatural, that can save humanity from itself. There will always be the question of life and death, nothing in creation itself can save our life, at some point it will all be over for each of us. Creation and nature can help extend our lives and make them better, but after we die in this world, then what happens? I believe our lives can be eternal, eternity can start today, because once we open our hearts to God and ask him to come in, then eternity has already begun. If we fail to choose, that lack of choice has made the decision for us, eternity might have started but an eternity…

The gift of life

The gift of life… “This righteousness of God comes through faith in Jesus Christ for all those [Jew or Gentile] who believe [and trust in Him and acknowledge Him as God’s Son]. There is no distinction,” ‭‭~Romans 3:22‬~ God does not play favourites. His gift is to one and to all. “For there is no distinction between Jew and Gentile; for the same Lord is Lord over all [of us], and [He is] abounding in riches (blessings) for all who call on Him [in faith and prayer].” ‭‭~Romans 10:12‬~ What God says he means. He’s not like the majority of us for whom this statement is not true. Most of us know that this is hard to hold true to most of the time, let alone all of the time, but he only makes one qualifier and that is that we need the righteousness of God which comes through faith…

The King is coming…

The King is coming… What if the king should return? What if this was your last week? Where do you stand? Where do your friends and family stand? If you know that the King could come at any moment then what is your plan? Do you have an urgency? Do you have a sense of urgency for your friends and loved ones? For your family and those that are closest to your heart? If you don’t have a sense of urgency I really pray this sense of urgency overtakes you!!! Whether it’s perceived or a real, when a harmful event, attack or threat occurs there are two responses that happen, these motivate us… fight and flight… If we have the knowledge and sense of the reality of a SOON coming King I would think it would also stir us, hopefully into flight, in thought and in active plans to do…

Awaiting renewal….

Awaiting renewal…  “For the creation was subjected to frustration and futility, not willingly [because of some intentional fault on its part], but by the will of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will also be freed from its bondage to decay [and gain entrance] into the glorious freedom of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation has been moaning together as in the pains of childbirth until now. And not only this, but we too, who have the first fruits of the Spirit [a joyful indication of the blessings to come], even we groan inwardly, as we wait eagerly for [the sign of] our adoption as sons–the redemption and transformation of our body [at the resurrection].” ‭‭~Romans 8:20-23‬~ My body is in a state of decline. Funny realisation. One minute it’s that you seem to be in your prime, tip-top shape and the…
