Love while you can…

Love them while you can! Life turns on a dime… And even though we don’t have ‘dimes’ here in Australia the saying is as true as ever and this is often how life goes. We often think we have time, we often think we can do that later but loving is one thing that we shouldn’t put off for later, or think we have the time for because life is fragile and it fractures and it moves about in unpredictable ways and so we should love the people in our lives while we can. Here today… gone tomorrow… Another saying that strikes me, one of those sayings my mum used to say often. Sadly these days love can seem to be like that but from the people in life whom we hold the dearest, the ones that are there to stay, love should never be here today and gone tomorrow.…

New lands and borders…

~New lands and borders~ It’s been hard but I’ve had to put some boundaries into my life where they had previously never been. It’s really hard to know a boundary when you’ve never lived it before… When you put a new boundary in place, it really might feel wrong for a time, you may not know if you are doing the right thing…  If it’s a new boundary then its unknown and its uncharted territory… And… it might be a bit scary. It’s like riding a wave and not knowing where it will take you. We have to trust God as He made the wind, the waves, the currents, the times, the seasons. Sometimes I think “I sure hope I am hearing Him right..” It doesn’t happen too often, but in the middle of putting a ‘growth step’ in place maybe I need to pray about it again and ask God to…

Building Walls…. Softening Our Hearts….

When my heart becomes hardened by life’s experiences I close the door more often than I used to. As a younger woman my heart was way way open its my natural disposition but I wasn’t strong enough to know boundaries  all I knew was love, mercy and compassion… Where I am today experiences have strengthened me and taught me, I’m confident more self assured, wiser, …more balanced… But also my heart has hardened in places… Experiences strengthen us and grow us but experience also teaches us to build walls. Gods presence reminds us to find a balance. Peace teaches us to find the very fine line between boundaries and forgiveness between trust and hardness. My ‘circle’ has shrunk, the people that have a key to the doorway of my life has dramatically dramatically reduced. That’s the pleasure and pain of experience. That’s my thoughts… ~Cam Richmond~ Please visit: www.facebook.com/lightforlifepage www.facebook.com/sayaprayerforme www.facebook.com/theanswerIvefound…

Emotional Hoarders and the Like…

My friend told me she was an EMOTIONAL HOARDER!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought that sounded quite profound and so I asked her if I was an EMOTIONAL HOARDER! She told me that I am definitely and EMOTIONAL GIVEAWAYER!!!! She said ’emotional hoarders’ are people who hide their emotions and don’t let them out very often because they are scared too or don’t know how too…that was her at that moment!! Apparently ’emotional giveawayers’ are people whose life is like an open book and let it all hang out…… and that is more me. She said its better out than in and that is so true! She told me we need to become Emotional Balancers….where everything is in good healthy balance and boundaries!! And we definitely don’t want to be Emotional Exploders, I think that one needs no explanation! Food for thought! ~Cam Richmond~ Please find more writing and inspiration from my via…

Oh my goodness ‘JAMIE OLIVER’!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhhhhh… Jamie Oliver!!!! Of course I think Jamie Oliver is wonderful. I am not a devout follower as some are but I can appreciate his brilliance, his generosity, his care for people in so many ways, his charity work and his welfare work! All making such a big difference all around the world! I admit I was just as excited this morning when I was watching last weeks episode of Masterchef Australia that I missed while I was away on holidays. I mean out of all the guest chefs that have appeared on the show from around the world, I have never seen the contestants respond like that before. It was an emotional experience for sure when they started to realise that it was probably going to be him. I was even feeling emotional with them!!! And of course it was him and the episode was fabulous! Jamie Oliver is…
