Inclusion

When I talk inclusion I am not referring to diversity. I am talking about time together versus time alone. There are many times, seasons and events, pretty much on a daily basis that I think about inclusion. I grew up in a home that everyone was included. There wasn’t an event that was exclusively for ‘this group’ of people. I am so thankful that because my mum cared for people, especially those down and out, that we always shared our table, our home and even our room at times with people that had no where else to go. Friends of ours that were in difficult families, whose families didn’t live close by, people who were stuck for a place, old and young were welcome. I think that’s why even at this age I really struggle with not including … its just not in my nature. I think of those ones…

Count my blessings…

ƸӜƷ. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY ƸӜƷ.

Are you counting?

I talked to an old friend of mine who is alone, she is recovering from many things, suffering and all the while she is alone.

We have no idea how many people around us may be around us like that….

All I can do is call her, send her a few things, text her, and when she is on my heart I pray for a miracle!

These are things that don’t cost but their value is far above anything she or I could afford.

Just a little encouragement to count my blessings, and to do all the little things that I CAN do for those in need.

Hope this inspires many of you do something for someone today and to always think along these lines.

Just something to think about….

Together….

God tells us to bear one anothers burdens…

We don’t just have to grin and bear it on our own!
I am so thankful for every person that has been sent along my path that has shared in my burdens…
I am VERY thankful for the camaraderie of friendships that give me the feeling of community in my times of need. And I do believe that there are those that have been ‘sent’ along my path, and I KNOW that I have been sent along other people’s paths… It makes the journey a little more bearable… Thank you for sharing in my journey…

Held…

.•°*”˜˜”*°•.ƸӜƷ. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY ƸӜƷ.•.•°*”˜˜”*°•. Held… We are held… So many things going on in our lives. So many of us. A big world. So many people in need. I was walking just now sensing the hand of God is holding mine… I can almost feel it. He is holding your hand too if you let Him. It’s like we have all these pieces of our lives, too many to hold without dropping some. We can give all these pieces to Him. He knows where all the pieces fit. He knows which ones don’t belong to our picture. Sometimes we have fragments of other peoples lives in amongst ours, some that we are holding or keeping. They are not ours to carry or have. He is looking from above and sees that big picture and can complete the picture for us… I’m allowing Him to have all the pieces…
