EternityMatters... now more than ever. In times like these, what should our focus be? I heard Greg Laurie say this recently...
"You’ve heard it said that some people are “so heavenly minded, they are no earthly good,” but the fact is, those who are the most “heavenly minded” are actually the greatest earthly good. Those who think the most about the next world do the most in this one."
I'm hoping that our hearts will be transformed and will be so passionate and full of faith, and realize that Jesus could come back in a moment that we need to focus on eternal things. I'm all for 'encouraging messages' etc, that's what I'm all about, but I'm hoping that the things happening around us now will help set our hearts on higher purposes and weightier messages and matters.
Now is the time to rise up and realise the season we are in. I'm lighting a signal fire. I know God has called me to light fires in people's hearts, so this is the light and I hope more and more Christians are drawn to it and will catch on that now is the time to do the most important work that God has called us to.
Its time that we are directed to this higher purpose. And I pray we will be able to share the greatest gift we have, our Saviour, with people whose hearts were open and that they meet Jesus and have a revelation of eternity.
Our hearts need to changed and awakened, we can't be pressured into having a passion for His kingdom, our hearts need to be stirred and awakened by a revelation of eternity. We need an awakening... and that's what changes everything...

Keeping Pace…
If we are training for something or on a mission to achieve a goal, even if we are trying to get fit, it’s a great idea to have a walking buddy. It’s the same in life. It’s great to have a walking buddy! There is a friend of mine that we used to walk together a lot. She was fitter than me and whenever I walked with her it would encourage me to keep pace with her. She is a strong walker and her normal pace is faster than mine so it helped me to go that little bit further and faster than I would by myself. It’s the perfect example of why walking your life journey with someone is so good. It doesn’t have to be a husband or wife, just a great friend will do, someone who is on your wavelength, someone who will push you that little…

Stronger Not Weaker…
After having been through so many tests in my life, now I sense when I am in one. And when I can sense that I am in one then I know that I want to do what I can to get through it more quickly rather than prolonging my stay by my unwillingness to at least TRY! I wouldn’t want to go through all those tests again but thankfully they have shaped me to be who I am and actually, I am mostly quite happy with who I am! The tests have made me stronger and more confident rather than completely robbing me of hope and faith. Hopefully through them I will LEARN less lessons! The New World of WordPress!
Well this is really officially my first post in WordPress. I’ve been writing for a long time and it has taken me a long time to make it to WordPress but here I am. It just seemed a little too complicated for me but I think I get the hang of it now, the basics anyway. I am looking forward to using this and gaining the benefits and experiences of ‘blogging’ to teach me more and reach more people with a positive inspirational touch to their days. Do you Know God?
Realize that you are a sinner.
No matter how good a life we try to live, we still fall miserably short of being a good person. That is because we are all sinners. The Bible says, "No one is good—not even one." We cannot become who we are supposed to be without Jesus Christ.
Recognize that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you.
The Bible tells us that "God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners." This is the Good News, that God loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die in our place when we least deserved it.
Repent of your sin.
The Bible tells us, "Repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away." The word repent means to change our direction in life. Instead of running from God, we can run toward Him.
Receive Jesus Christ into your life.
Becoming a Christian is not merely believing some creed or going to church. It is having Christ Himself take residence in your life and heart. Jesus said, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in . . ." If you would like to have a relationship with Christ, simply pray this prayer and mean it in your heart.
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. Amen."
