EternityMatters... now more than ever. In times like these, what should our focus be? I heard Greg Laurie say this recently...
"You’ve heard it said that some people are “so heavenly minded, they are no earthly good,” but the fact is, those who are the most “heavenly minded” are actually the greatest earthly good. Those who think the most about the next world do the most in this one."
I'm hoping that our hearts will be transformed and will be so passionate and full of faith, and realize that Jesus could come back in a moment that we need to focus on eternal things. I'm all for 'encouraging messages' etc, that's what I'm all about, but I'm hoping that the things happening around us now will help set our hearts on higher purposes and weightier messages and matters.
Now is the time to rise up and realise the season we are in. I'm lighting a signal fire. I know God has called me to light fires in people's hearts, so this is the light and I hope more and more Christians are drawn to it and will catch on that now is the time to do the most important work that God has called us to.
Its time that we are directed to this higher purpose. And I pray we will be able to share the greatest gift we have, our Saviour, with people whose hearts were open and that they meet Jesus and have a revelation of eternity.
Our hearts need to changed and awakened, we can't be pressured into having a passion for His kingdom, our hearts need to be stirred and awakened by a revelation of eternity. We need an awakening... and that's what changes everything...

Unite over eternity… I am so, so saddened… so sad to read through Facebook posts and to read of Christians walking away from the clarity that the Word of God gives and to being divided, and what’s more, they are being divided from the more important mission of sharing Jesus with as many as we can, because surely His return is imminent. Is what you believe about hotbed issues more important to you than their eternity of friends and families? A huge deception is setting in, and the church is under the cloud. I never thought I would see the day. I guess we always knew it would come to this, but to see it is so grievous to me. Salvation or feel-good experience?
Salvation or feel-good experience? People who don’t know God don’t know about sin… it’s not in the modern secular vocabulary. People know good and bad but not their need to be saved from sin. If we only focus on acceptance and tolerance people are not presented with the whole gospel. Look to the Creator…
Look to the Creator… People would rather put their hope in God’s creation and not in Him, but nothing that people put their hope in can save them except for Him. There is no person or thing, natural or supernatural, that can save humanity from itself. There will always be the question of life and death, nothing in creation itself can save our life, at some point it will all be over for each of us. Creation and nature can help extend our lives and make them better, but after we die in this world, then what happens? I believe our lives can be eternal, eternity can start today, because once we open our hearts to God and ask him to come in, then eternity has already begun. Where is your hope found?
Where is your hope found? All the talk used to be about world peace. Looks like we’ve ruined any chance of that. The world is so fractured right now that it’s actually about to splinter. I never, in my wildest imagination expected what we are experiencing today. Civilization has become completely uncivilized and almost rabid!!! We are going backward at a rate of knots. Any chance we had for stability seems to be vanishing right before our eyes. Where is your hope found? Mine is in God our creator. He is The supreme supernatural force. There is no other person or thing, natural or supernatural, that can save humanity from itself. Our world has never been so close to the edge. At times over recent centuries, we may have gotten close to the ‘road to peace’, but we’ve long passed that one by now. This is a wake-up call. #eternitymatters…

Do you really believe Jesus is coming back? A few years ago now, I came to the point of REALLY asking myself this question. That was the end of me being complacent about sharing Jesus, that would no longer be allowed… BUT, it was demanded of me, not by anyone else, but by the revelation that Jesus really is coming back. This gave me a fresh awakening and a heart for the gospel and salvation! That’s why my question to ALL CHRISTIANS is this… DO YOU REALLY REALLY BELIEVE JESUS IS COMING BACK? Do you Know God?
Realize that you are a sinner.
No matter how good a life we try to live, we still fall miserably short of being a good person. That is because we are all sinners. The Bible says, "No one is good—not even one." We cannot become who we are supposed to be without Jesus Christ.
Recognize that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you.
The Bible tells us that "God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners." This is the Good News, that God loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die in our place when we least deserved it.
Repent of your sin.
The Bible tells us, "Repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away." The word repent means to change our direction in life. Instead of running from God, we can run toward Him.
Receive Jesus Christ into your life.
Becoming a Christian is not merely believing some creed or going to church. It is having Christ Himself take residence in your life and heart. Jesus said, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in . . ." If you would like to have a relationship with Christ, simply pray this prayer and mean it in your heart.
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. Amen."
