EternityMatters... now more than ever. In times like these, what should our focus be? I heard Greg Laurie say this recently...
"You’ve heard it said that some people are “so heavenly minded, they are no earthly good,” but the fact is, those who are the most “heavenly minded” are actually the greatest earthly good. Those who think the most about the next world do the most in this one."
I'm hoping that our hearts will be transformed and will be so passionate and full of faith, and realize that Jesus could come back in a moment that we need to focus on eternal things. I'm all for 'encouraging messages' etc, that's what I'm all about, but I'm hoping that the things happening around us now will help set our hearts on higher purposes and weightier messages and matters.
Now is the time to rise up and realise the season we are in. I'm lighting a signal fire. I know God has called me to light fires in people's hearts, so this is the light and I hope more and more Christians are drawn to it and will catch on that now is the time to do the most important work that God has called us to.
Its time that we are directed to this higher purpose. And I pray we will be able to share the greatest gift we have, our Saviour, with people whose hearts were open and that they meet Jesus and have a revelation of eternity.
Our hearts need to changed and awakened, we can't be pressured into having a passion for His kingdom, our hearts need to be stirred and awakened by a revelation of eternity. We need an awakening... and that's what changes everything...

Salvation or feel-good experience? People who don’t know God don’t know about sin… it’s not in the modern secular vocabulary. People know good and bad but not their need to be saved from sin. If we only focus on acceptance and tolerance people are not presented with the whole gospel. Look to the Creator… People would rather put their hope in God’s creation and not in Him, but nothing that people put their hope in can save them except for Him. There is no person or thing, natural or supernatural, that can save humanity from itself. There will always be the question of life and death, nothing in creation itself can save our life, at some point it will all be over for each of us. Creation and nature can help extend our lives and make them better, but after we die in this world, then what happens? I believe our lives can be eternal, eternity can start today, because once we open our hearts to God and ask him to come in, then eternity has already begun. If we fail to choose, that lack of choice has made the decision for us, eternity might have started but an eternity…
Where is your hope found? All the talk used to be about world peace. Looks like we’ve ruined any chance of that. The world is so fractured right now that it’s actually about to splinter. I never, in my wildest imagination expected what we are experiencing today. Civilization has become completely uncivilized and almost rabid!!! We are going backward at a rate of knots. Any chance we had for stability seems to be vanishing right before our eyes. Where is your hope found? Mine is in God our creator. He is The supreme supernatural force. There is no other person or thing, natural or supernatural, that can save humanity from itself. Our world has never been so close to the edge. At times over recent centuries, we may have gotten close to the ‘road to peace’, but we’ve long passed that one by now. This is a wake-up call. #eternitymatters…
Do you really believe Jesus is coming back? A few years ago now, I came to the point of REALLY asking myself this question. That was the end of me being complacent about sharing Jesus, that would no longer be allowed… BUT, it was demanded of me, not by anyone else, but by the revelation that Jesus really is coming back. This gave me a fresh awakening and a heart for the gospel and salvation! That’s why my question to ALL CHRISTIANS is this… DO YOU REALLY REALLY BELIEVE JESUS IS COMING BACK? Many Christians will say yes out of habit. So ask yourself again…. pause, consider, and THEN answer. DO YOU REALLY REALLY REALLY BELIEVE JESUS IS COMING BACK? Yes……… How then should you live? What is important? If time is short, which it seems to me it is… THEN… DO YOUR LOVED ONES, FRIENDS AND FAMILY KNOW THE…
Tune in so you don’t get tuned out… But the [Holy] Spirit explicitly and unmistakably declares that in later times some will turn away from the faith, paying attention instead to deceitful and seductive spirits and doctrines of demons, [misled] by the hypocrisy of liars whose consciences are seared as with a branding iron [leaving them incapable of ethical functioning], ~1 TIMOTHY 4:1-2~ ***The Holy Spirit: Listen! This is a declaration of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit who is sent to guide us into all truth. The Spirit who teaches us all the things that we need to know. ***Explicitly and unmistakably: The Holy Spirit is declaring that this is a sure thing, it’s a certain thing, there is no doubt whatsoever. This point is being very clearly stressed, that this will happen in no uncertain terms. ***Some will turn away from the faith: This next line is a bit…
Jesus can only be what you preach Him to be… The Holy Spirit can only bless what you say about Jesus. The Spirit cannot bless what you do not say about Him. If “this same Jesus,” the very “Jesus whom Paul preaches,” is preached now, the Spirit of God will confirm it. Preach a limited Jesus, and He can not be Himself. He does not save unless you preach a Savior. He does not heal unless you preach the Healer. How many are guilty of stripping our precious Lord; men stripped Him once for His crucifixion. Unbelief strips Him again of His power. He is no longer mighty to save and heal in many a church. To use Paul’s expression, He is “restricted” in our lives, which means “hemmed in with no room to work” (2 Corinthians 6:12). Again we read in Mark 16,20 “And they went out and preached everywhere,…
