MYPSALMS 52-54
I’m reading through the Psalms and I’m writing my own MyPsalms… They are a wonderful way to connect God and I in real conversation. I hope you are enjoying them. Maybe you will feel inspired to write your own Psalms!
My desire is to find this place of intimacy, this place of desire and knowing, this place of dependence on Him in all things. My days are so full that I just blow through them with working full-time and all the requirements of a family and then I wonder did I talk to God at all during the day?”

MyPsalm 52
Dear Lord,
My joy is found in you alone, my sovereign Lord upon the throne
No matter whether there are tears or strife, I am assured you hold my life
There is no meaning to be found, if I had not you around.
Into insignificance all things pale… and to you my King I hail.
Come Lord Jesus transform me now, change me, make me, you know when and how.
I open my hands to you my king, the more I change the less I need most things.
Keep my eyes open and alert, open my ears to hear your words.
Direct me Lord each step I take…. your will your way is the road I’d take.
Humble me Lord, keep me low, open my hands, help me to go.
I bow before your majesty I acknowledge you Lord I bend my knee.

MyPsalm 53

Awaken in me your passion oh Lord. If it not be stirred up now then please awaken it fully. May your cause be my cause and your heart my heart, more and more every day.
Lead me to those you want me to share Your very great love with and then let seeds of eternity be awakened in their hearts as you have already planted them there before the beginning of time.
Awaken my mind, awaken my heart, awaken my spirit. Awaken my desire to desire you and your will and your way.
Awaken the reality of your presence all around me and let it be my guide and my compass in all I do, say and think.
Let me be awakened till I am down on my knees bringing you the needs of those who are in need around me and those in need of you.
Let the people hear the sound of the call Lord, to awaken, and let them take up the call to action and be stirred so much in their hearts that they cannot rest from sharing you and your love until you come again

Dear Lord,
I find my meaning in your and only you. Everything else pales into insignificance when I think of you. What even would life be without you?
May my life reflect your life and let my life shine for you as I reflect your light and show just how amazing you are.
I humble myself before you Lord and I bow my knee. I give you my love and my will and my life… Lord have your way in me and through me and I don’t even have to think twice at saying that because you are the best one for me and what you bring into my life is always for my best.
I may seem to walk blind but You are leading me by your hand. I may seem to walk in circles but you know just where you want me to go and you will get me there. I may seem to be up and down and all over the place from time to time but you still stick right there and you know where I will land.
May your light, reflected off me, illuminate the darkness that clouds people, let them see the light and come to know the light in whom there is no darkness.

The Psalms always touch my heart and my spirit, and after reading your heartfelt Psalms I am inspired, encouraged and left with a fulfillment of God’s endless love for me.
