This is a declaration of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit who is sent to guide us into all truth. The gift of life

The gift of life… “This righteousness of God comes through faith in Jesus Christ for all those [Jew or Gentile] who believe [and trust in Him and acknowledge Him as God’s Son]. There is no distinction,” ‭‭~Romans 3:22‬~ God does not play favourites. His gift is to one and to all. “For there is no distinction between Jew and Gentile; for the same Lord is Lord over all [of us], and [He is] abounding in riches (blessings) for all who call on Him [in faith and prayer].” ‭‭~Romans 10:12‬~ What God says he means. He’s not like the majority of us for whom this statement is not true. Most of us know that this is hard to hold true to most of the time, let alone all of the time, but he only makes one qualifier and that is that we need the righteousness of God which comes through faith…

He did it for us…

He did it for us…  For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” ‭‭~2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:21~   What a gift from God…   God made Jesus, who knew NO SIN… Who was perfect in every sense, in whom NO-FAULT could be found, who was PURE, who was completely INNOCENT, whose motivations and intentions were UNBLEMISHED…   To BE SIN To carry, to be weighed down, to take on himself…   FOR US… For you and I, for every individual person, no matter who they are, no matter their race, color, creed, or station, he did it for each one. So that we might not have to go through receiving the penalty of our sin.   THAT WE MIGHT BECOME THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD… IN HIM If only we will recognize our frailty, our weakness, our shortcomings,…

Holding out the word of life

                            “holding out and offering to everyone the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to rejoice greatly because I did not run [my race] in vain nor labor without result.” ‭‭~Philippians‬ ‭2:16‬~ The passage goes…  “Do everything readily and cheerfully—no bickering, no second-guessing allowed! Go out into the world uncorrupted, a breath of fresh air in this squalid and polluted society. Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the living God. How He bridges that gap

“So repent [change your inner self — your old way of thinking, regret past sins]  and return [to God — seek His purpose for your life],  so that your sins may be wiped away [blotted out, completely erased], so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord [restoring you like a cool wind on a hot day];” ‭‭~Acts‬ ‭3:19‬~ So repent… The words of this verse are words of love. What a beautiful and impassioned plea. Is that the way you read it??? If not, perhaps you could read that again and hear the heart of love crying out to you? I woke up the other morning with the words to a very old song going through my head. I wonder how many might know it? It was a church anthem back in those days. I hadn’t thought of this song in 20 years probably but I am sure in one way or another it’s prophetic. “They rush on the city, they run on the wall Great is the army that carries out His word!
