Learning material…

~Learning material~ Life has enough learning material for many life times! What we learn today we can take into tomorrow. If we don’t take it in tomorrow it wastes the learning material. Every lesson is valuable and sometimes only years later do we see the value in the lesson. The lessons of the people around us are also invaluable… Usually we need to learn things for our self but in seeing the lessons of those around us is an amazing resource that we don’t have to pay for! We all pay for our experiences one way or another… and when we learn from another’s experiences at least most of the time we don’t have to pay for that! We do however pay for our own learning materials… we pay for them or we are paid… they either take something from us or give something to us. Sometimes a hard lesson is…

Building Walls…. Softening Our Hearts….

When my heart becomes hardened by life’s experiences I close the door more often than I used to. As a younger woman my heart was way way open its my natural disposition but I wasn’t strong enough to know boundaries  all I knew was love, mercy and compassion… Where I am today experiences have strengthened me and taught me, I’m confident more self assured, wiser, …more balanced… But also my heart has hardened in places… Experiences strengthen us and grow us but experience also teaches us to build walls. Gods presence reminds us to find a balance. Peace teaches us to find the very fine line between boundaries and forgiveness between trust and hardness. My ‘circle’ has shrunk, the people that have a key to the doorway of my life has dramatically dramatically reduced. That’s the pleasure and pain of experience. Stronger Not Weaker…

  After having been through so many tests in my life, now I sense  when I am in one. And when I can   sense that I am in one then I  know that I want to do what I can to get through it more quickly rather than prolonging my stay by my unwillingness to at least TRY!  I wouldn’t want to go through all those tests again but thankfully they have shaped me to be who I am and actually, I am mostly quite happy with who I am! The tests have made me stronger and more confident rather than completely robbing me of hope and faith. Hopefully through them I will LEARN less lessons! They are rarely ever pleasant experiences mind you! ~Cam~
