Sooner or later…

~Sooner or Later~ It would be so much better if you knew sooner rather than later when there is a problem. Sometimes we know there is something going on but fear sets in. You may not feel you have the courage at that time to ask what is going on… What I have learnt is this…don’t wait to ask! Usually, even if it hurts it’s better to find out… ~Cam Richmond~ Please visit: www.facebook.com/lightforlifepage www.facebook.com/sayaprayerforme www.facebook.com/theanswerIvefound www.facebook.com/lovewithoutexpectationspage www.facebook.com/RainbowsofLife1 www.facebook.com/AmazingEternalGrace

Proceed with caution…

~Proceed with caution~ Guard your heart with all diligence for out of it flows the issues of life ~ Proverbs 4:23 ~ Proceed with caution is probably the best advice we can use in most circumstances that we face. I don’t want to find myself stopping dead in my tracks and I don’t want to go back, I want to keep moving forward so the best thing I can do is proceed with caution. We need to scope out the lay of the land, and keep in mind the wisdom that has been given to us as we step ahead. The danger is to step out on the ‘outside’ but step back on the ‘inside’. Guarding your heart doesn’t mean closing your heart but this is often easier said than done. I know from experience… To find the balance between loving, caring, sharing, and not is a very narrow space!…

Enriched through Experience….

~Enriched through experience~ Over the last few months I’ve been able to see so clearly the growth that is happening in me. For so many years feeling somewhat handicapped by life and unable to fully or properly deal with the hard lessons that came along I’ve slowly gained enough courage to want to work things out that go wrong or are difficult or unpleasant. Usually… I lived with some of the things that caused me pain… Fear held me in place… But gradually I learnt that pain was too high a price for me and that the price of confronting things in a gentle but firm way was far better for me… We’re always taught to communicate and express but I didn’t have a voice… I really didn’t. Fear had clammed my voice and when I look back now… It’s taken the last 22 years to even begin to really reclaim it… In SO many areas of life. I’ve lost things…

Courage ….

~Courage~ There are times when we need to speak about things that make us feel uncomfortable. Things happen, things may not sit well with us, but that doesn’t always mean that they need to be spoken of. Often it’s just something we need to process ourselves and work out our own thoughts or beliefs. But, there are times when these things can become something we keep coming up to, we walk away and it comes back to us, they can become a stumbling block, things that begin to trip us up. When I say stumbling blocks, I am not referring to things that cause us to sin, but rather things that are getting in the way of our journey forward. Stumbling blocks can also become obstacles when they remain and continue to block our path forwards, and when stumbling blocks become obstacles then there is an impasse. Finding the courage…

Emotional Hoarders and the Like…

My friend told me she was an EMOTIONAL HOARDER!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought that sounded quite profound and so I asked her if I was an EMOTIONAL HOARDER! She told me that I am definitely and EMOTIONAL GIVEAWAYER!!!! She said ’emotional hoarders’ are people who hide their emotions and don’t let them out very often because they are scared too or don’t know how too…that was her at that moment!! Apparently ’emotional giveawayers’ are people whose life is like an open book and let it all hang out…… and that is more me. She said its better out than in and that is so true! She told me we need to become Emotional Balancers….where everything is in good healthy balance and boundaries!! And we definitely don’t want to be Emotional Exploders, I think that one needs no explanation! Food for thought! ~Cam Richmond~ Please find more writing and inspiration from my via…
